As an editor & writer my goal is to publish stories that need a unique home—I prioritize writers with unique voice & examine topics that fall outside of mainstream coverage. I’ve interviewed taxidermists about their relationship to death, walked Sonoma County vineyards with water witchers & cooked Lenten meals with casserole queens while discussing the great significance of communal dining in America’s Midwest.

My professional experience spans 10+ years of editorial work, including publishing in The United States, Mexico & Scotland, as well as full-time editing roles in both online & print sectors. I’ve managed every aspect of two EIC roles, including sales, admin, hiring, editing, writing, marketing & events. I’m currently launching a small press (broadsheets, magazine & chapbooks) focused on the theme of Death.
